7th Pay Commission: Government employees can now calculate their hiked salary through this pay scale calculator

Secretaries Panel has revised the hike rate which was originally suggested by the Commission. The minimum and monthly salary would be upgraded by 30 per cent.

New Delhi, June 16: 7th Pay Commission is expected to be rolled out from the month of August. The recommendations of the Secretary Panel has been screened by the Empowered Committee of Secretaries. Cabinet is likely to give the green signal for implementation of the revised recommendations from July. The salary which would be received by employees of Central Government on August 1 would be hiked. Based on this new pay scale calculator, a Central Government employee can predict the amount of salary which would be credited into his account.

To access the calculator, click here. The calculator has been designed with the intent to predict one’s complete salary by taking all aspects of the payslip into account. To calculate your upcoming salary, enter your existing basic pay (based upon 6th CPC), your pay band and pay grade. The percentage of Housing Rent Allowance (HRA) is also required to be entered. Similarly, the details of Transport Allowance and Non-Practicing Allowance, along with your city needs to be entered in the fields provided.

The Seventh Pay Commission is expected to impact a total of 47 lakh Central Government employees, apart from 52 lakh pensioners. As per the latest reports, the recommendations of Cabinet Secretary P K Sinha will receive a go-ahead, and the salaries based upon the recommendations of 7th CPC would be released from August 1.
